Carson Walden – Partner, Office Genius
Carson Walden graduated with honors from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Business. Before attending law school, Carson worked as a paralegal for an immigration law firm in Nashville, Tennessee. There, he assisted with a variety of business and family immigration matters, focusing on assisting entertainers from around the world seeking to enter the U.S. to perform their art. Carson came to Atlanta to attend John Marshall Law School, where he graduated Cum Laude and received multiple awards for his academic performance and extra-curricular work.
Since passing the Georgia Bar Exam, Carson has primarily focused on bankruptcy and consumer debt matters. Prior to founding Walden, Goodhart, Harden & New, Carson worked for a large bankruptcy firm in Atlanta, where he assisted clients seeking solutions to their consumer debt issues.
Christopher M. Harden – Partner, Big Country
A native of Rossville, Georgia, Christopher Harden moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in History. Chris earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School. While at John Marshall, he represented the school at the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition and held internships with both the Georgia Innocence Project and the Public Defender’s Standards Council, Appeals Division.
Since passing the Georgia Bar Exam, Chris has been representing clients in a wide array of civil, criminal, and family law matters. Prior to co-founding Walden, Goodhart, Harden & New, Chris successfully ran a solo practice serving multiple counties in North Georgia, providing zealous representation for clients in the areas of criminal defense, family law, and estate planning.
Peter T. New – Managing Partner, Office Wit
Peter came to Atlanta to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. After graduating from Georgia Tech, Peter worked in the product development field while attending law school at night. He graduated cum laude from John Marshall Law School, where he served as Editor of the John Marshall Law Journal.
After passing the Georgia Bar Exam, Peter worked at a boutique immigration law firm, where he handled a variety of immigration matters. Since co-founding Walden, Goodhart, Harden & New, Peter has continued to provide assistance in both family and business immigration matters. He additionally has experience assisting individuals and businesses with a variety of civil, criminal, and commercial matters.
Lauren E. Goodhart – Founding Partner
Lauren Goodhart will be remembered as a compassionate and dedicated attorney, who fought tirelessly for her clients. A native of Atlanta, Lauren graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Prior to attending law school, she worked in the legal industry as a paralegal and attorney’s assistant for a small civil litigation firm. Lauren continued working as an attorney’s assistant while attending law school at night. She earned her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School, where she was honored as a peer mentor.
Whether simply defending against a traffic ticket, or engaging in complex multi-million dollar litigation, Lauren treated each of her clients with the same level of sincere care and concern. Through her practice and personal life, Lauren touched many lives. Her spirit, dedication, and compassion continue to guide our practice.
